4-2 OPERATION GUIDE
Broadcast Transmission
Broadcast Transmission lets you fax the same document to multiple destinations in
a single operation. Your facsimile temporarily stores the documents to be faxed in
memory, then automatically dials the FAX numbers and transmits a copy to each
destination.
NOTE: Up to 100 destinations can be set for the broadcast transmission.
Broadcast transmission cannot be combined with the timer-based transmission.
1 Place the original documents to transmit in the document processor or on the
platen.
2 Access 62.Broadcast.
If you are unsure how to use this route map refer to Accessing Menu Items on
page xii.
3 Enter the destination FAX number using the numeric keys.
NOTE: You can use the one-touch dial, speed dial, or group dial to enter the
destination FAX number.
4 Press [OK].
NOTE: Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all desired destination FAX numbers have been
specified.
5 Press [Start] to start transmission.
NOTE: Press [Stop/Clear] and then [1](1:Sure) on the numeric keys to cancel
transmission. Transmissions that are not completed are all canceled. Cannot cancel
the specified transmission only.
