8.2 FITTING THE DELAY BOARDS
BEFORE YOU START:
The DPF3103 contains dangerous voltages so ensure you disconnect the mains
supply
The unit uses Static sensitive devices so do take ESD precautions
Do not touch the components on any of the printed circuit boards
Hold the modules by the edges only.
PROCEDURE:
Working with the front of the DPF3130 towards you, remove the six M2.5
countersunk screws securing the cover
Locate the two sets of main board connectors, J10 & 11 and J13 & 14 mid way
along the front edge of the main board
Check the orientation of the Delay module i.e. the writing on the module should
be correct reading when viewed from the front of the DPF3103
Position the module over the main board connectors and check the pin
alignment. All pins are used so there should be no spare pins visible either side of
the module connectors
Check the pin alignment once again and then push the module down onto the
main board connectors
The Delay modules must be fitted as a pair.
Replace the cover, plug in the mains connector and switch the unit on
Press the DELAY button and check the DELAY menu is displayed
Check that the other controls are still working correctly.
