9.0 REAL TIME ANALYSER OPTION
NOISE
Switches the noise output level between Mic (-55dBu) and Line level (0dBu).
9.2 OPERATING THE RTA
The RTA is operated through four main menus which are accessed using the RTA
button -
• Press the RTA button once to select ANALYSER
• Press RTA button again to select RTA-SETTINGS 1
• Press RTA button again to select RTA-SETTINGS 2
• Press RTA button again to select CORRECTIONS
Pressing RTA again returns you to ANALYSER.
ANALYSER page
The Analyser page displays the signal level in each of the 31 audio bands along
with the overall level. The solid bar represents the average level and the flat bar
the peak value. The display is scaled in dB's, shown to the left of the screen and
the top line shows the reference or range value and the analyser source.
Default settings for the Analyser are -
Input: Micro
REFERENCE: +10 dBu
RANGE: 20dB range.
Use the
keys to select the parameters and adjust using the DATA WHEEL
or alternatively use the DATA WHEEL to both select and adjust each parameter.
SOURCE
Use the DATA WHEEL (parameter mode) to select the required source.
Available options are Input A (InA), Input B (InB), Out A (OutA), Out B (OutB)
or external Microphone (Micro).
InA and InB are not affected by any of the processors. OutA and OutB are
post all signal processing.
RANGE
Use RANGE to adjust the display resolution between 20dB and 40dB full
scale.
• Press the DELAY/RANGE button, the top line of the display changes to
RANGE mode.
• Use the DATA WHEEL to select between 20dB or the 40dB range.
The dB scale to the left of the screen changes according to the selected
range which is shown on the top line.
