1.7 Electrical Safety
1.7.1 Power Connections
A separate electrical circuit should be used for each machine. The circuit should not be less than
the wiring listed in the table below and should be protected with an appropriate circuit breaker
based on the total running and start-up amperages (listed below). If an extension cord is required,
use only 3-wire extension cords which have 3-prong grounding type plugs and matching
receptacle which will accept the machine plug.
DANGER
Before connecting the machine to the power source, verify the
switch is in the “OFF” position.
