  DOORS AND HATCHES
4.1 Key equipment
a) Key of the chassis.
b) Key of the living quarters door, storage hatches
and water caps (and cab door on Ecovip A-class
and Kosmo A-class).
4.1.1 Central locking and alarm
Remote control integrated in the ignition key (a):
c) Button to lock all doors and activate the alarm.
d) Button to open cab doors and disactivate the
alarm.
e) Button to open the living quarters door and disac-
tivate the alarm.
Should the vehicle stay unwatched we advise
you to always close it with a key.
Before any start please check that every single
door has been closed properly.
THINGS TO DO
The alarm system is optional (not standard).
NOTE
Some vehicles are equipped with a device called
dead lock”, which, if set, prevents the opening of
the cab doors from inside. For information on this
device, refer to the chassis manual.

The chassis key (a) is supplied in double copy, but
only one is equipped with an integrated remote
control.
