GARAGE/REAR STORAGE SPACE
Some vehicles are provided with a garage area for
small motorcycles, mopeds or bicycles.
Such vehicles must be fastened with ties to the
rings(a) located on the floor.
The load inside the garage/rear storage space
must be evenly distributed and must not exceed the
maximum limit indicated on the label located inside
the compartment.
If you use this area for transport of bulky objects
(such as tables, chairs, etc.), the objects must be
secured so that they cannot move when driving.
If you transport motorcycles, mopeds or similar, which
are powered by flammable fuels, ensure that their
tank is completely empty.
On some models, the garage is smaller and
cannot hold vehicles. In this case, it is a storage
space for various materials.

Before the start of any journey, please make sure
that all the garage/rear storage space hatches
are properly closed.
WARNING
Do not use the garage/rear storage space as a
sleeping or living space for people or pets. This
space is not ventilated. Danger of asphyxiation
due to lack of oxygen.
WARNING
When loading the garage/rear storage space, take
care not to exceed the technically permissible
maximum mass on each axle and the technically
permissible maximum laden mass.
WARNING
When the garage/rear storage space is loaded to
capacity, the front axle will be lighter due the lever
effect. The behaviour of the vehicle on the road
will worsen.
WARNING
Distribute the load evenly. Loads concentrated too
much in one place can damage the floor covering.
