4.3 Hatches
4.3.1 Kosmo series
To open a hatch, turn the lock in vertical position (a)
and pull the handle. To lock a hatch, set the lock in
horizontal position (b) and, after you have closed it,
move the handle to the locking position (d).
4.3.2 Ecovip series
To open a hatch:
1) Turn the lock to the vertical position (a). The handle
will snap outwards (b).
2) Turn the handle 90° clockwise (c).
3) Open the hatch.
Carry out the described operations in reverse order to
close a hatch.

A slight push is sufficient to close the hatches. Do
not close them by slamming.
WARNING
• Periodically lubricate hinges and locks with
sprays (ordinary maintenance).
• Periodically treat rubber seals with talcum
powder.
THINGS TO DO
Once you have the lock in horizontal position (b),
you can continue to open and close the hatch as
many times as you want, as long as you leave the
handle in open position (c): if you turn the handle
to position (d) the hatch will remain locked.
