ELECTRIC SYSTEM ECOVIP KREOS
7.3 Power supply - Battery
charger
The battery charger can recharge different types of
batteries: for optimal battery charger operation, a
selector (d) is provided inside the charger that can be
accessed by removing the cover.
In case Lead-Acid batteries are used, set the selector
(d) in position “A”. In case Gel batteries are used, set
the selector (d) in position “B”. In case AGM batteries
are used, set the selector (d) in position “C”.
• Bear in mind that the battery capacity is limited
and lowers considerably in winter.
• Disconnect the battery poles in case of mainte-
nance works on the electric system.
• If your vehicle is not going to be in use for
a long time please disconnect the auxiliary
battery by means of the proper switch (see
below “ Battery master switch”).
THINGS TO DO
• Do not overload the lines with electric optional
equipment.
• Do not leave the engine turned on when either
the engine battery or the auxiliary battery
terminals are disconnected (danger of short
circuit).

On the Ecovip series – except for DS models – the
power supply/battery charger is reached from the
