17.8 Tilting bed cab Ecovip
A-class with manual
handling
To lower the bed, it must be unlocked by pulling the
handle (a).
The bed is equipped with one safety latch (b) for
locking in the raised position.
17.9 Rear bed with manual
handling
To raise or lower the bed:
1) Move the lever to position (c).
2) Insert the handle (a) into the coupling (b);
3) Turn the handle;
4) Once the desired position has been reached, return
the lever to position (d).

Before using the bed, check that the lever is in
position (d).
WARNING
Some parts of the bed may hit the table when
the bed is lowered. Furthermore, the table may
prevent proper positioning of the ladder for
access to the bed. Before lowering the bed,
arrange the table top so that it does not interfere
with any part of the bed.
WARNING
Before driving off, make sure that the bed is
locked in the raised position.
