6.1 Living quarters entrance
step
The opening and closing of the living quarters
entrance step can be actuated by means of a switch
on the inside of the vehicle, in the living quarters door
area. Moreover, on the dashboard, in a position that
can be accessed by the driver, there is a control panel
with a button that controls the closure of the step and
two lights that warn about open step and open garage
door.
a) Button located on the side of the living quarters
entrance door.
b) Button on dashboard (closing only).
c) Open step warning light.
d) Open locker door warning light.
ENTRANCE STEP
• Do not leave objects on the step.
• Do not leave the step open at night when the
temperature drops below 0 °C.
THINGS TO AVOID
No living quarters entrance step is provided on
the Kosmo series (except for Kosmo Compact 5
and Compact 9).
NOTE
On the Kreos 5009 the control panel is to be
found near the cab ceiling light.
NOTE
No control panel is provided on the Kosmo
Compact 5 and Compact 9.
NOTE
To guarantee safety, a buzzer alert that the step is
open when the vehicle is started.
NOTE

When opening/closing the step make sure that
the opening/closing operation has taken place
correctly.
WARNING
Check that the step is closed before driving off.
WARNING
Do not go up or down the step while it is moving.
WARNING
Always proceed with care when climbing up and
out: the step may be slippery.
