Overflow of heat transfer liquid

Do not overfill the device. Observe the level display and the
thermal volume expansion of the heat transfer liquid.

Do not spray heat transfer liquid. Use a funnel for filling.

Overflow of heat transfer liquid due to increase in volume
caused by heating

Take into account the increase in volume caused by heating
of the heat transfer liquid.

Risk of heat transfer liquid escaping

Draining tap must be closed.

Heat transfer liquid escaping from the overflow pipe

Use a collecting vessel on the overflow.
Heat transfer liquids expand when heated (approx. 10 % for every
100 °C). If an external consumer is connected, the total expansion
occurs in the tank of the thermostat.
n Avoid ignition sources in the vicinity of the cover and overflow hose.
n There must be no gas cushions in the consumer system.
