A sensor for the tramline system (optional extra) can be fitted
to the ram that controls the coulter beam. During lifting on
headlands, the working pass number will change
automatically.

Forward speed
Recommended forward speed depends upon the type and
preparatory treatment of the soil. At a high forward speed the
seeds of the foremost coulter row can easily be covered with a
lot of soil by the rear coulters.
In that case, reduce either the forward speed or the coulter
pressure of the foremost coulter row (see paragraph 5.4).

Operation start-up
- Open the ball valve of the marker control.
- Check the marker length.
- Adjust the output required.
- If you want to, set the hectare counter at zero.
- Check if the throttle valve of the fan has the correct
position.
- Adjust the track eradicators at the required working depth.
- Fill the hopper.
- Check the coulters and hoses for blockages.
When operating on larger plots, this check should also be
carried out between times.
- Start the first working pass.
The coulters and metering wheel should be lowered onto
the ground a few metres before the intended area of
application, because it takes a little time before the seeds
are blown from the metering device towards the coulters.
• Engage the PTO.
• Lower the machine.
• Increase the PTO up to operating speed.
• Lower the coulters onto the ground whilst driving.
• Stop the machine after a small area has been sown. Lift
the coulters before the tractor has come to a standstill.
• Disengage the PTO shaft.
• Check the sowing depth of the different coulter rows. If
need be, adjust the coulter pressure.
• If necessary, adjust the working depth of the track
eradicators.
