C FITTING THE LINKAGE PARTS
C.1 Mounting behind a LELYTERRA
The LELYTERRA has to be fitted with the correct type of
linkage.
Use the linkage with pin A (type I; fig. C1) if the headstock
has the holes B as well as the reinforcement plates on the
inside of the headstock.
If the holes or plates are lacking, the linkage with the
supports E (type II; fig. C2) needs to be applied.
- (type I) Fit the 2 pins A (fig. C.1) on both sides of the
LELYTERRA headstock. Place washers underneath the
nuts.
- (type II) Place a spacer bush F (fig. C.2) in the headstock
and mount the supports E. Place washers underneath the
nuts and spring-washers underneath the bolt heads.
- (type I) Fit the linkage arms C (fig. C.1) to the pin. Use
hole . The plastic slide plate should be facing the
headstock.
- (type II) Fit the linkage arms C (fig. C.2) in support E by
means of pin F. Use hole .
- Attach the chain of the adjustment strip D (fig. C.1/C.2) to
the linkage arm by means of a D-shackle.
- Mount the fixation for the adjustment strip (fig. C.3).
Depending on the type of LELYTERRA headstock, the
fixation consists of a support A or a pin B.
- Mount the adjustment strip to the fixation in such a way
that the linkage arms remain clear of the trough.
