Step 4. Install the M.2 adapter into the M.2 tray.

1. Insert the M.2 adapter at an angle of approximately 30 degrees into the tray.
2. Open the retention clip on the air baffle.
3. Rotate the M.2 adapter downward into place.
4. Close the retention clip and tighten the screw to secure the M.2 boot adapter.
5. Connect the cables to the M.2 adapter.
6. Tighten the screw that secures the M.2 signal cable to the M.2 adapter.
Step 5. Install the M.2 drive on the M.2 adapter.

1. Press both sides of the retainer.
2. Slide the retainer backward.
3. Insert the M.2 drive at an angle of approximately 30 degrees into the connector.
4. Rotate the M.2 drive down until the notch catches on the lip of the retainer.
Step 6. Connect the cables to the system board.

Use the BMC to configure the RAID.
