6 Commissioning
During commissioning, system-related data such as motor parameters, operating parameters,
responses, and parameters for fieldbus communication are defined for the inverter. For Lenze
devices, this is done via the codes.
The codes of the inverter and communication are saved non-volatilely as a data set in the memory
module.
In addition, there are codes for diagnosing and monitoring the stations.

• whether the bus system is terminated by means of a bus terminating resistor at the
first and last physical bus station.
