5.5.2 Event Log
Event log provides the records of the system activities. All the system events are shown here.
Note:
As the Event Log is stored in RAM, it will be refreshed after the system is restarted. The system
also supports a Syslog reporting function of reporting the events to an external Syslog server.
Date/ Time: The date and time of the record when the event happened.
Hostname: Indicate which Host records this event. Note that all events in this page are local
events and this field of all events is the same. However, in remote syslog service, this field will
help the network administrator identify which event is from this system. For more information,
please refer to Section 5.1.4 Management Services.
Process name (with square brackets): Indicate which process with the specific event is
associated.
Description: Description of the event.
