RPM
Linear Factor: the default value at the start of an exercise test. The formula that expresses
the relation between RPM and Workload (P) is:
P = α * RPM5
Where α is a linear factor (= 0.044 in the Excalibur Sport). During programming a protocol
the α is adjustable.
Fixed Torque Ergometry: In this case the torque is kept constant during exercise resulting in
a linear relationship between the Workload (P) and RPM (n):
P = c * n with c = 2*π*T
With the constant c defined as:
