7 Decommissioning and dismantling
7.1 General indications
The disposal of toxic and/or dangerous waste, such as chemical compounds, is
subject to specific rules depending on the country of origin. Before carrying out
any operation of this type you need to read those regulations with the relevant
authorities in your area. For the dismantling of the instrument it is advisable to
consult the Manufacturer and work only with staff specialized in this type of
operation. If necessary, contact the organizations specialized in this kind of
activity.
7.2 Procedure
The instrument does not have in its component parts defined toxic or harmful.
The instrument consists essentially of the following materials:
Ferrous metal material
Non-ferrous metal material
Electrical components, wiring and circuit boards
The dismantling must be done with removal of the individual parts and subsequent
recovery to a landfill able to accept normal ferrous and aluminum materials. For
disassembly of the various components will eventually contact the Manufacturer.
As regards the components that require disposal procedures must be followed to
the regionally established regulations.
