Bin lock
The status of the bin lock is displayed, which will show as either Enabled or Disabled.
Enabling of the Bin lock feature and monitoring of its status is carried out in the GP I/O
screen.
During a PV test, the bin is automatically unlocked to allow for PV test product to be easily
removed from the reject bin.
Bin lock timeout
In this field you can set the time before the reject bin will automatically relock again. The
range is 5 to 30s.
Tap in the field to display a pop-up numeric keypad and enter the time required.
Double bag
Select this option to reject products if the length is longer than expected. For example, bags in
a continuous stream may need to be separated prior to being inspected and this separation
may have failed, resulting in a double-bag entering the detector. This option is only available if
a Product Registration Photo-eye has been installed.
Tap in the option check box to enable or disable it.
Disable rejects?
Tapping this button temporarily disables the reject device. This feature is intended for Loma
Service Engineer use only.
Help Manual
Purpose
The Help Manual screen is displayed by tapping on the book icon
in the System Setup screen.
The screen is used to locate and open Help text files which provide information for setting up and
operating the metal detector.
Screen Contents
The screen displays a hierarchy of nodes and sub-nodes, much like Windows Explorer, that can be
expanded to display lists of associated Help text files that are available. Tapping on the Help text file
then opens it in a new screen.
These are the same files that are displayed when tapping on the help button
in the related
screen.
