4. You can now now select the required options and enter the appropriate parameter values to
set up the VF Balance. See the VF Balance screen section for further details.
5. Once you have entered details and selected the required options, tap on the Back button
to display the Save Settings pop-up screen. Then tap on the green tick 'OK' button to
save the changes.
Setting the VF Drive
The transmitter drive for all available operating frequencies is set up in the VF Drive screen to
maximise sensitivity of the detector. This is carried out during the manufacturing process so should
not need adjustment under normal operating conditions.
However, if any of the electronics are replaced it is recommended that the setup is repeated. This is
normally done using the AutoBalance feature which automatically makes any P and Q channel
balance adjustments necessary for each of the available frequencies.
Manual adjustment is also possible and this is carried out by Loma Service Engineers when required.
To set up the VF drive, proceed as follows:
1. In the System Settings screen, tap on the Advanced icon to display the Advanced Settings
screen is displayed.
