13. Alarm ("AL.")
There are three possible settings:
Off (AL.oFF), On with sound (Al.on), On without sound (AL.no.So).
In the following cases, an alarm is issued when the alarm function is active (on or no.So.):
- Lower alarm threshold (Al. Lo) exceeded.
- Upper alarm threshold (Al. Hi) exceeded.
- Sensor error
- Low battery (bAt)
- Err.7: System error (is always signalled with sound)
In the event of an alarm, the "PRIO" flag is marked in the device response with interface
accesses.
Attention: We suggest to choose a fixed unit for the display (e.g. "InP
cond") when using the analog output. If "InP SEt" is chosen instead, this
may lead to unpredictable behaviour of the output.
14. Real time clock ("CLOC")
The real time clock is required for the temporal assignment of the logger data and the calibra-
tion time point. Therefore, check the settings as necessary.
15. Battery replacement
Before replacing the battery, read the follow-
ing instructions and follow them step by step.
Non-observance can result in damage to the
device or may impair the waterproofing of the
device!
Unnecessary adjustment to the screws must be
avoided!
1. Release the screws of the protective casing and
remove it.
2. Position the still-closed device so that the
display remains visible. The lower section of
the device, including electronic components,
should remain in this position during the entire
battery replacement.
This prevents the three seal rings in the screw
holes from falling out.
3. Lift off the upper housing half. In the process,
pay special attention to the six function
keys to ensure that they are not damaged.
4. Carefully replace the two batteries (type: AAA).
5. Check: Are all seal rings in the lower section
present (3 units)? Is the surrounding seal
in the upper section undamaged and clean?
6. Fit the upper section on again. Then press
the two housing parts together, place
the device on the display side and screw
it back together.
Only tighten the screws up to the pressure point – additional tightening does
not create a greater tightness!
