2.7 Custom Settings
Custom Settings should not be used until enough experience with 3D
printing has been gained to feel comfortable with all aspects of the printer
and its operation. Recommended Mode will provide good results for most
models. The rst time Cura is launched it will default to the Recommended
Settings interface. In order to have more control of your slicing and
GCODE generation, you can switch to Custom Settings.
First choose your desired Quick Print prole, this will then copy over
the current settings when changing to Custom Settings mode. Select
the Custom button next to the recommended button. The following drop
down tabs will now be available: Quality, Shell, Inll, Material, Speed,
Travel, Cooling, Support, Build Plate Adhesion, Dual Extrusion, Mesh
Fixes, Special Modes, and Experimental.
