Calibrating the Level Gauge
The rst time you tap the Level icon calibrate the ILLUM’s level feature, your ILLUM may need to be calibrated. Follow the 6
simple on-screen steps to properly calibrate your ILLUM. You can also follow the steps below if you ever need to recalibrate the
level in the camera.
Follow the on-screen guide to calibrate the ILLUM level. You must remove the ILLUM lens hood and Lytro straps before cal-
ibrating. If you have attached the Lytro strap anchors to the ILLUM, you will need to remove them to continue. Click yes on
screen to initiate the 6 step calibration process.
Place the ILLUM on a at, level surface like a table. Touch the Start Now button on the screen. As prompted, rotate the ILLUM
in the direction indicated by the arrow and place the ILLUM on that same at table surface. You will be instructed to rotate and
replace the ILLUM in the new orientation six times to complete the process. If you rotate the camera the wrong direction or
skip a step when instructed, the calibration process will not complete.
