Remove the lament residue from the nozzle using gloves and the nozzle
maintenance pin or tweezers.
Caution
Do not touch the nozzle as it can become very hot. To prevent burning your hands when
you remove lament residue from the nozzle, use gloves and the nozzle maintenance pin or
tweezers.
Cleaning method 2: Cleaning the nozzle without a computer
software.
If a computer software is not installed, follow these steps to clean the nozzle .
1.
Turn on the machine.
2.
Press [OK] to heat the nozzle. (This method takes approximately 3 minutes.)
When the nozzle is warm enough, [MARV is Ready.] is displayed on the LCD and
the lament extrudes from the nozzle.

Open the top cover.
4.
Press the lever on the nozzle unit and remove the lament from the
insertion hole.
5.
Remove the lament residue from the nozzle using gloves and the nozzle
maintenance pin or tweezers.
To prevent burns, wear gloves when you clean the machine.
