Troubleshooting
If you experience a machine fault, check the following tips before contacting our
service center.
The Machine Does Not Turn On
Check that the 'Firm update SW' switch is set to the left position.
If the 'Firm update SW' switch is set to the right position, the machine turns off. Set
the switch to the left position before you turn the machine on.

Check that power switch is turned on and that the power and adapter cables
are connected properly.
Connect the power and adapter cables to the machine and then turn the power on.
Are the cables and the power adapter connected to the machine
manufacturer supplied items?
Make sure you use the power cord and the adapter cable supplied with the
machine. Use manufacturer supplied components and accessories only. We are
not liable for performance degradation, machine breakdowns or accidents if third-
party items are used.
The Software Will Not Install
Ensure the USB cable is not connected to your computer.
Do not connect the USB cable until the software installation is complete.
If the USB cable is connected, remove it and then continue with the installation.
For Windows XP, if "Found New Hardware" is displayed, disconnect the USB cable
from the computer. Then, click [Cancel] and wait until the message disappears
before you continue the installation.
