Before Driving
Backlite Rear Screen (Valid
for MC20 Cielo only)
To move the backlite rear screen, enter
the “Spyder” menu as described in
“Functions of Controls Menu on MIA” on
the MIA screen, or use the shortcut in
the “Home” page or touch the “Spyder”
soft-key on the Main Status Bar.
Press and hold the (1) soft-key to raise
the backlite rear screen.
Press and hold the (2) soft-key to lower
the backlite rear screen.
NOTE:
• While the hard top is being opened, the
backlite rear screen is automatically
raised until it reaches the optimum
height for the windbreak function.
From this position, it can be partially
raised or completely lowered. The
limit imposed on raising the rear
screen prevents positions that create
troublesome turbulence. To raise
or lower the rear screen, press the
soft-key up or down once the RHT has
been opened.
• When you park the vehicle with
the RHT system closed (coupé
configuration), make sure that the rear
screen is closed.
• Heavy rain or car washes may cause
water to collect on the tonneau cover.
• After a software update or a
disconnection of the battery, always
open and close the RHT and the
Backlite Rear Screen to initialize the
systems.
CAUTION!
If there is heavy rain, water may collect
in the area behind the rear screen. Make
sure you do not park the vehicle on a
slope to reduce the probability of this
situation occurring or avoid it. If the
water remains, do not open the rear
screen.
