Real Time Clock (RTC)
What’s this?
Various features and facilities provided by the Vision use date and time parameters. Such facilities work
properly only if the system is set with correct date and time values. These features are:
1. Alarms
2. SMDR
3. Time Table
The Vision is equipped with built in Real Time Clock (RTC) circuit. This circuit is to be set once with current
date, day and time values. It then updates itself regularly to keep track of the parameters. However, please
note that the RTC circuit can drift over a long period. Hence it is recommended to check and reset RTC values
at least once every month to correct this drift.
