5. Optional: Peel the covering off the adhesive tape
on the back of the nozzle-height reference scale and
attach it to the instrument, to the left of the plate-type
lever. When you have set the tips for a particular
plate to the height you want to dispense from, mark
the reference scale for that plate and height.
