Why is the Maxcess Industrial Equipment actuator unstable in Automatic mode?
V
Victoria LawsonAug 5, 2025
The actuator might be unstable due to several reasons: the System Gain could be set too high, cable connectors might be loose, or the Sensor Calibration may not be correct. To resolve this, decrease the System Gain, tighten all cable connectors, and perform Sensor Setup.

What to do if the Maxcess FIFE-500 MAX actuator moves the wrong direction in Automatic mode?
E
Erin FernandezAug 10, 2025
If the actuator moves in the wrong direction, the Guide Polarity might be incorrect, the incorrect sensor mode might be selected, or the Sensor Calibration might not be correct. Perform Autosetup or manually change the Guide Polarity. Select MANUAL mode, then verify the correct sensor mode is selected by pressing the SENSOR key if necessary. Also, perform Sensor Setup.

Why does Maxcess Industrial Equipment actuator move to either end of the stroke in Servo Center mode?
N
Natalie GonzalesAug 30, 2025
The actuator moving to either end of the stroke indicates that the Servo Center Polarity is set incorrectly. To correct this, select MANUAL mode and then change the Servo-Center Polarity.
