3.2.4 Exhaust
SPS Compact:
The SPS-Compact-System is designed for operation under a laboratory exhaust hood. For required
change of air, maximal drop in pressure and exhaust channel, please keep the respective national
regulations.
Eventually occurring solvent vapor may be removed via the technical exhaust.
SPS 800 Manual:
The SPS system is equipped with two connections for exhaust (At the top and at the rear side of
the system, for housing and safety cabinet) to connect with customer’s disposal facility.
For information about air change, loss of pressure and exhaust supply follow all local health, safety
and environmental guidelines. Potential occuring solvent vapours can be vented through an
adequate disposal/ventilation system.
WARNING
Risk of toxic and inflammable vapours!
It is the customer responsibility to ensure all relevant safety regulations
concerning disposal facility.
(e.g. VDMA24169 and EN945-1 cat 3 inside Europe).
The exhaust piping has to be an electrostatic conduction. Take measures
against electrostatic discharge.
Supply Piping for Exhaust connections:

Removing solvent vapours from the safety cabinet and from the housing to
customer’s disposal facility
Flow rate
> 4,2 m³/h
Material
Piping and disposal facility are provided and applied by the system user.
Connection
Type
NW 75 for both connections.
On request, you require a combined connection.
