5.3.1.1 Evacuating the Sampling Flask (SPS Compact and SPS 800 Manual)
NOTE!
Before sampling solvents, the empty sampling flask shall be evacuated and
flooded with inert gas at least 3x, for excepting contaminations by moisture
and oxygen etc.
CAUTION
Risk of damage and injury!
Never evacuate a flask filled with solvents!
The solvent may reach the vacuum pump and destroy it. Solvent vapour
may reach environment and cause injury.
CAUTION
Risk of damage and injury!
Keep the flask cautiously hold during evacuating and flooding.
Otherwise the receptacle may fall out, if over pressure arises.
