settings on the SPEAKER LEVEL MENU are com-
plete, select EXIT on the menu. The SPEAKER
SETUP Menu will reappear on the Monitor/TV screen.
9. Continue next to the SPEAKER TIME DELAY SET-
TINGS. If you do not wish to perform SPEAKER
TIME DELAY SETTINGS adjustments at this time,
proceed to the next step.
10. Select EXIT from the SPEAKER SETUP Menu. The
MAIN SETUP Menu will reappear on the Monitor/TV
screen and select EXIT from the Menu. If you are sat-
isfied with the changes that you may have made, select
YES to save those changes or NO not to save them.
The MHT200 will then return to normal operation. Re-
fer to figure 13 on page 25.
Auto-Step Speaker Level Adjustment:
Using the Internal Test Signal
1. Press and hold the Front Panel SETUP Push-button for
approximately three seconds. The word SETUP will
appear on the Front Panel Display and the MAIN SYS-
TEM SETUP Menu will appear on the Monitor/TV
screen. Refer to figure 12 on page 25.
2. Using the Up or Down directional push-buttons
select Speaker Setup on the On-Screen Menu, followed
by the SELECT Push-button on the Remote Control.

3. Using the Up or Down directional push-buttons
select Speaker Level on the On-Screen Menu, followed
by the SELECT Push-button on the Remote Control.
Refer to figure 17.
4. Using the Up or Down directional push-buttons
select the LEFT Front, followed by the SELECT Push-
button on the Remote Control. Refer to figure 18.
Note: The Internal Test Signal will be switched On and a
G Clef Symbol ( ) will also appear to the right of
the numerical value instead of dB. The test signal
will start cycling continuously through all
Loudspeakers in 3-second intervals.
5. While in the Listening/Viewing area, note the volume
levels from each of the Loudspeakers as the test signal
switches. If you determine that the test signal volume
is louder or softer in any of the Loudspeakers, the lev-
els should be adjusted so you hear the same test signal
volume from all of the Loudspeakers.
Note: The Left Front Loudspeaker volume level can
usually serve as a reference. If one or more
Loudspeakers are significantly louder than the
other Loudspeakers in the system, it is advisable to
reduce their volume levels instead of increasing the
volume levels of the quieter Loudspeakers.

tons and adjust the CENTER Channel level to match
the LEFT Front Channel (reference level). Refer to fig-
ure 19.
7. To resume the continuous cycing through the Loud-
speakers press the SELECT Push-button.
8. To stop the cycing and switch Off the test signal press
the SELECT Push-button.
9. Repeat the level adjusting procedure as often as neces-
sary until you are satisfied that the volume levels are
the same from all of the Loudspeakers. When all of the
