Luer pipes
The PCF Pro basket comes with luer pipe
connections. Luer pipes are connected to
these connections for cleaning of lumen
instruments.
In general, the luer pipes should be replaced
every 12 months. However, depending on use
of the machine, the luer pipes may require
replacement sooner than 12 months.
The user must inspect the luer pipes before
every use and replace if required.
Note: Replace all luer pipes at the same
time.
Caution
• Do not allow Luer pipes to
protrude from the basket.
• If any instruments became
detached from the
Medisafe connection tubing
during processing, they
should be reprocessed
ensuring that the Luer
connection is firmly seated.
•
Check the condition of
basket
irrigation port Luer
hoses, ensure they are not
kinked or ruptured.
The luer pipe clips into the luer connector.
To remove the luer pipe, press the luer
connector clip.
