Pre-wash
All water in the tank is drained. The machine
fills with cold water to the minimum level.
During filling for each stage, the spray and
irrigation valves are opened, and the pump is
operated at least once to ensure all voids are
filled.
The machine then washes for a set time,
alternating between spraying and flushing.
During flushing recirculated water is pumped
through the instruments.
Finally, all water in the tank is drained
Wash
The tank is filled to the top level with a mix of
hot and cold water to attain the set
temperature. Once the water reaches the mid-
level, a quantity of detergent is dispensed into
the tank. The pump is pulsed on and off to
even out the temperature, fill all cavities, and
to mix the chemical thoroughly.
Once the tank is full, if the temperature is
below the set point, the water heater will turn
on.
When the set temperature is reached, the
ultrasonics degas the tank by pulsing on and
off for a pre-defined time to remove any
dissolved air.
At the end of the degas period the machine will
then alternate between irrigation and
Ultrasonics for a pre-defined time.
