2.1. Symbols on the instrument

sition of this product and otherwise observe all applicable requirements.The unit can also be
returned to Megger at any time at no charge for the disposal.
2.2. Warning and caution notices
Warning and caution notices are used throughout this user guide where applicable and should be strictly
observed and followed. These notices appear in the format shown below and are dened as follows:

2.3. Accessories
Only use accessories that are recommended by Megger.
2.4. Cables
Only use the approved main detachable cable set with the FRAX-series. Main supply cable shall be rated for
the maximum current for the equipment and the cable shall meet the requirements of IEC 60227 or IEC
60245. Main supply cables certied or approved by a recognised testing authority are regarded as meeting
this requirement.
Connecting cables must be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on nor pinched by items placed
upon or against them. Do not pull on or tie them together. Pay particular attention to the connectors.
To disconnect a cable:
1. Unlock the retainer, in case of an XLR connector.
2. Grasp the connector rmly and pull.
