NOTICE
Battery damage can be caused by incorrectly installing the battery or
connecting the battery wiring incorrectly. Do not step, lean on, or place any
objects on the battery. Always install the battery with the handle and LED
indicators facing upward.
1. Slide the latch to open the hood.
2. Verify the connector cover is removed from the battery connector and
stowed on the hood.
3. Slide the battery into the outboard along the guide rails.
