IMPORTANT
Alwaysensuretheseatbeltwillnotbecometrapped
inthedooraperturewhenclosingthedoor,damage
willoccur.
Pullingtheseatbeltouttooquicklymaycauseitto
'lock'.Inthiscase,allowtheseatbelttoretract
slightlyandthenpullitacrossyourbodyslowly.
Ifitisdifculttopulltheseatbeltout,itmaybedue
totwistedwebbing.Ifthisisthecase,fullyextract
theseatbelt,removethetwist,allowtheseatbelt
toretractslowly.
Eveniftheseatbeltisnotcompletelysmoothed,it
isstillrequiredtobewornduringdriving,butthe
twistedpartoftheseatbeltshallnotcontactthe
passenger.Whenthishappens,pleasegotoanMG
AuthorisedRepairerforrepair .
CorrectRoutingoftheSeatBelts
Ensuretheseatbeltiscorrectlypositionedon
thebody,nevercrosstheneckorabdomen,
neverpasstheseatbeltbehindthebackor
underthearms.
Whenwearingseatbelts,thelapbeltsectionshouldbe
positionedaslowaspossibleacrossyourhips.Nevercross
theabdomen.Intheeventofacollision,thelapbeltcan
applyaforceonthehipsandreducethepossibilityofyou
