Whenthecarisinmotion,incaseofanyemergency,such
asthecarcannotbestoppedbythebrakepedal,itcanbe
deceleratedbypullingupandholdingEPBswitch.
•PulltheEPBswitchupwardandholdtorealizethe
emergencybraking.Continuousacousticalarmwill
soundsimultaneouslyduringemergencybrake.
•T ocanceltheemergencybrakingprocess,releasethe
EPBswitch.

DONOTdrivewiththeparkingbrake
applied,orapplytheparkingbrakewhilethe
vehicleisinmotion.Thiscouldresultinloss
ofcontrol,preventtheABSfromfunctioning
correctly,andmayevencausedamageto
therearbrakes.
Theparkingbrakeoperatesontherearwheelsonly.T o
applytheparkingbrake,pulltheleverupward.While
parking,ensuretheparkingbrakeleverstaysinthe
pulling-upstate.
T orelease,pulltheleverupslightly,thenpressthebutton
attheendofparkingbrakelever(asindicatedbythearrow
inthegure)andfullylowerthelever .
Whenparkingonasteepslope,donotrelyontheparking
brakealonetoholdthevehicle.
