enginepower/torqueandincreaseinfuel
consumptionwilloccurifthewrongfuelis
used.
Usethefuelrecommendedbythemanufacturer.See"Main
ParametersofEngine"in"T echnicalData"chapter.
Ifalowergradeoffuelisused,anengineknockingnoise
mayoccur,pleaseusetherecommendedorabovegrade
gasolineassoonaspossible.Iftheengineknocking
noiseisstillnoticeableafterusingtherecommendedor
abovegradefuel,pleasecontactMGAuthorisedRepairer
immediately.Itispermittedthattheoctanenumberof
gasolineishigherthanthatrequiredbytheengine,but
itisnotadvantageousforengineoutputpowerandfuel
consumption.
SafetyPrecautionsinaFuelFillingStation
Vehiclefuelgasesarehighlyammable
and,inconnedspaces,arealsoextremely
explosive.
Alwaystakecarewhenrefueling:
•T urnofftheengine;
•Donotsmokeoruseanakedame;
•Donotuseamobilephone;
•Preventfuelspillage;
•Donotoverllthetank.
