Whenthecarisinastrongradiosignalsinterferencearea,
orthesmartkeylowbatteryoccurs,pleasestartthecar
bythefollowingalternativestartingprocedures:
1Placethesmartkeyatthebottomofthecentre
consolecupholderwiththebuttonupward(as
showningure).
2Followthenormalprocedures,pressSTARTSTOP
buttontostarttheengine.
Afterthebatteryisreplacedandthecarleavesthe
interferencearea,thekeylessstartingprocedurecanstill
notbeusednormally.SeekanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
PrecautionsforEngineStart
Idlespeedwilldecreaseafterenginewarm-up.Donot
increaseenginespeedimmediatelyafterstartingtheengine.
Progressivelyoperatetheengineandtransmissionsothat
oilcanwarm-upandlubricatealloperatingcomponents.
DONOTpresstheacceleratorpedalwhilestartingand
DONOToperatethestarterformorethan15secondsat
atime.
Intemperaturesof-10℃andbelow,theenginecranking
timemayincrease.Itisessentialthatallunnecessary
electricalequipmentareswitchedoffwhilecranking.
