DrivingthecarwiththeoillevelABOVEthe
uppermark,orBELOWthelowermarkon
thedipstick,willdamagetheengine.T ake
caretoavoidspillingengineoilontoahot
engine–aremayresult!
Checktheoillevelweeklyandtopupwithoilwhen
necessary.Ideally,theoillevelshouldbecheckedwiththe
enginecoldandthecarrestingonlevelground.However,
iftheengineisrunningandalreadygettingwarm,waitfor
atleastveminutesafterswitchingofftheignitionswitch
beforecheckingthelevel.
1Withdrawthedipstickandwipethebladeclean.
2Slowlyinserttheoildipstickandpullitoutagainto
checktheoillevel;theoillevelshallnotbelowerthan
the“MIN”markontheoildipstick.
3Unscrewtheoilllercapandrelltheoiltomaintain
theoillevelbetweenthe“MAX”markand“MIN”
markontheoildipstick.
4Waitfor5minutesandthenrecheckthelevel,adding
moreoilifnecessary–DONOTOVERFILL!
5Finally,ensurethedipstickandllercaparereplaced.
