1Withthebonnetinclosedstate,andwithin20
secondsofswitchingtheignitiontotheOFF
position,pressdownthewiperleverswitchtoSingle
Wipeposition(see‘WipersandWashers'inthe
‘InstrumentsandControls’chapter)andrelease,the
wiperwillautomaticallymovetoserviceposition,and
stoponthewindscreen.
2Liftthewiperarmawayfromthewindscreen.
3Pressthebuttononthewiperarm(asillustrated),
andpulltheupperendofthewiperbladeoutwardto
disengagefromthewiperarm.
4Unhookthebladefromthewiperarmanddiscard.
5Locatethenewwiperintotheslotofthewiperarm.
6Pushthewiperbladetowardsthearmuntilthewiper
bladeisengaged.
7Checkwhetherthewiperbladeisttedcorrectlyto
thearmbeforepositioningonthewindscreen.
8PressdownthewiperstalkswitchagaintoSingle
Wipepositionandrelease,orturnontheignition
switch,thewiperwillexittheservicemodeand
automaticallyreturntoitsoriginalposition.
