Starting&Driving
ThefollowingconditionsmustbefullledtoactivateHHC:
•Closethedriversidedoorandfastentheseatbelt.
•Stopthevehicleonaslopewithcertainextent.
•SCSisfaultfree.
•Parkingbrakeisfailure-freeandreleased.
•Clutchpedalispressed(MT),orinDorRgear(AT).
•Engineisstarted.
•Sufcientbrakepedalapplicationforcehasbeenapplied.
Ifthedriverreleasesthebrakepedalonahill,HHCwill
maintainbrakepressurefor1~2seconds.Ifthevehicle
failstostartinsuch1~2seconds,thebrakeautomatically
releasesandthevehicleslips,thebrakepedalshouldbe
depressedimmediatelyinsuchacase.
Note:HHCisavailableinbothforwardandbackward
directionswhenpullingawayonuphillslopes.
Anti-lockBrakeSystem(ABS)
ABScannotovercomethephysical
limitationsofstoppingthecarintooshort
adistance,corneringattoohighaspeed,or
thedangerofaquaplaning,i.e.wherealayer
ofwaterpreventsadequatecontactbetween
thetyresandtheroadsurface.
ThepurposeoftheABSistopreventthewheelsfrom
lockingwhilebraking,therebyenablingthedrivertoretain
steeringcontrolofthecar.
ThefactthatacaristtedwithABSmustnevertempt
thedriverintotakingrisksthatcouldaffecthis/hersafety
orthatofotherroadusers.Inallcases,itremains
thedriver'sresponsibilitytodrivewithinnormalsafety
margins,havingdueconsiderationforprevailingweather
andtrafcconditions.
Undernormalbrakingconditions,ABSwillnotbe
activated.However ,oncethebrakingforceexceedsthe
availableadhesionbetweenthetyresandtheroadsurface,
therebycausingthewheelstolock,ABSwillautomatically
