carisbroughttoahaltintheshortestpossibledistancefor
theprevailingroadsurfaceconditions.
Note:Onsoftsurfacessuchaspowderysnow,sand
orgravel,thebrakingdistanceproducedbytheABS
systemmaybegreaterthanthatforanon-ABSsystem,
evenimprovedsteeringwouldbeexperienced.Thisis
becausethenaturalactionoflockedwheelsonsoft
surfacesistobuildupawedgeofmaterialinfrontof
thetyrecontactpatch.Thiseffectassiststhecarto
stop.
Nomatterhowhardyoubrake,youarestillableto
continuesteeringthevehicleasnormal.

ABScannotreliablymakeupforthedriver's
mis-operationorlackofexperience.
