StabilityControlSystem(SCS)
SCSisdesignedtoassistthedriverincontrolofdriving
direction.TheSCSautomaticallyentersStandbymode
aftertheengineisstarted.
WhenSCSdetectsthatthevehicleisnotmovinginthe
intendeddirection,itwillintervenebyapplyingbrakeforce
toselectedwheelsorthroughthepowermanagement
systemtopreventslidingandassistinbringingthecarback
totherightdirection.
T ractionControlSystem(TCS)
TCScontributestomaintainthecontroltothevehicle
byimprovingthevehicle'stractiontrafcabilityanddriving
stability.TCSmonitorsthedrivingspeedofeachwheel
individually.Ifspinisdetectedononewheel,thesystem
automaticallybrakesthatwheel,transferringtorquetothe
opposite,non-spinningwheel.Ifbothwheelsarespinning,
thesystemwillreducetheoutputtorqueofthepower
systeminordertoregulatewheelrotationuntiltractionis
regained.
SwitchingOn/Off
SCSandTCSareautomaticallyswitchedonwhenthe
ignitionswitchisplacedinpositionON/RUN.Andtheycan
beturnedoffaftertheengineisstarted.Theoperation
interfaceislocatedontheinstrumentsorentertainment
display.

Controls"chapter.
Whenitlocatedontheentertainmentdisplay:
Choose"Driving&Maintenance"afterenteringthe
interfaceofCarSetting,SCSandTCScanbeswitched
off/onbyoperatingtheswitch"StabilityControl".
WhenSCSandTCSareswitchedoff,theStability
Control/T ractionControlSystemOffWarningLampwill
illuminateonthemessagecentre.Referto"WarningLights
