Thecruisecontrolsystemenablesthedrivertokeepthe
vehicleadvancingataconstantspeedwithoutdepressing
theacceleratorpedal.Thisisparticularlyusefulfor
motorwaycruising,orforanyjourneywhereaconstant
speedcanbemaintainedforalengthyperiod.
CruiseControlSystemActivation
Cruisecontrolsystemisoperatedwithaleverlocatedat
theleftsideofthesteeringwheelunderneaththelighting
stalkswitch.
1WiththeignitionswitchinpositionON,ifthelever
switchisin"ON"position(4),thenthecruisecontrol
systemisinstandbystate;atthistime,theyellow
cruiseindicatorlampontheinstrumentpack
illuminates;iftheleverswitchisin"OFF"position(7),
thenthecruisecontrolsystemisinOffstate.
2Whenthecruisecontrolsystemisinstandbystate,
andthecurrentvehiclespeedisabove40km/h(the
operatingrangeis40～200km/h),pressdownthe
"Set"button(6)attheendofleverswitch,theyellow
indicator
ontheinstrumentpackshallchangeto
green,andthecruisecontrolsystementersinto
theactivationstate.Thetargetspeedofthecruise
systemwillbesetatthecurrentspeed,andthe
