keycanbedeactivated.Ifthelostkeyisfound,anMG
AuthorisedRepairercanreactivateit.
Note:AnykeymadeindependentlyoutsideofMG
AuthorisedRepairermaynotstarttheengine,andmay
affectthesafetyofyourcar.T oobtainasuitablekey
replacement,itisrecommendedthatyoucanconsult
MGAuthorisedRepairer.
Note:Thenewkeycannotbeofferedtoyou
immediatelybecauseitrequiresprogrammingtothe
vehiclebytheMGAuthorisedRepairer.
Note:Avoidoperatingtheremotekeyclosetostrong
radiointerferencedevices(suchascomputerandother
electronicproducts),orthenormalfunctionofthekey
maybeaffected.
ReplacingtheRemote/SmartKeyBattery
PleasereplaceRemote/Smartkeybatteryinthefollowing
conditions:
•Thelocking/unlockingfunctionrangeoftheremotekey
isobviouslyreduced;
•Theengineimmobilisationwarninglamponthe
instrumentpackashes,andthemessagecentreof
somemodelsdisplays"KeyBatteryLow".
