•anairbaginates.
•thefrontorsideofthevehicleisdamaged(evenifthe
correspondingairbaghasnotinated).
•anypartofanairbagmodulecoversshowsignsof
deteriorationordamage.
ThecomponentsoftheSRSSystemaresensitiveto
electricalandphysicalinterference;itisrecommended
thatyouALWAYSseekMGAuthorisedRepairerbefore
carryingoutanyofthefollowing:
•Removalorrepairofanywiringorcomponentinthe
vicinityoftheSRSSystem,including:thesteeringwheel,
steeringcolumn,frontseats,fasciaandinstrument
panel.
•Installationofelectronicequipmentsuchasamobile
phone,two-wayradioorin-carentertainmentsystem.
•Attachmentofaccessoriesto,ormodicationof,the
frontorsideofthevehicle.
•Removal,replacement,orretrimmingofafrontseator
seatcover .
IMPORTANT
•Theremovalorreplacementofanairbagmodule
mustbecarriedoutbyanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
•After10yearsfromtheinitialdateofregistration
(orinstallationdateofareplacementairbag),some
componentswillneedtobereplacedbyanMG
AuthorisedRepairer.Theappropriatepageofthe
WarrantyandMaintenanceManualmustbesigned
andstampedoncetheworkhasbeencompleted.
