(arrowed)whichactivatestheautomaticdippingfunction,
whenafollowingvehicle’sheadlightscoulddazzlethe
driver.Theautomaticdippingfunctionisinhibitedwhen
reversegearisselected.

Movetheleveratthebaseofthemirrorforwardto‘dip’
themirror.Normalvisibilityisrestoredbypullingthelever
backagain.
