Cruisecontrolenablesthedrivertomaintainaconstant
roadspeedwithoutusingtheacceleratorpedal.This
isparticularlyusefulformotorwaycruising,orforany
journeywhereaconstantspeedcanbemaintainedfora
lengthyperiod.
Thefollowingprecautionsmustbeobservedwhenusing
cruisecontrol：
•DONOTattempttousecruisecontrolwhenusing
reversegear.
•DONOTusecruisecontrolonwindingorslipperyroad
surfaces,intherain,orintrafcconditionswherea
constantspeedcannoteasilybemaintained.
•ALWAYSswitchoffthemasterswitchwhenyouno
longerintendtousecruisecontrol.

Thecruisecontrolsystemhasthreeswitches;twopush
switches(masterswitchandresumeswitch)andathumb
wheelsetswitch.Allswitchesaremountedontheright
handsideofthesteeringwheel.
1Pressthemasterswitch(1),thewarninglightinthe
instrumentpackwillilluminate.
2Accelerateuntilthedesiredcruisingspeedisreached
(thismustbeabovethesystemsminimumoperating
speedof25MPH).
